Holiday helpers and hosting tips...

It's estimated that over 90 % of homes in the US celebrate Thanksgiving, making it the most widely celebrated occasions in the country. We have some Uncluttered tips for keeping your celebration streamlined , stress free and super enjoyable...

1) Jingle and purge : start by cleaning out your entryway. Decluttering the first space that your guests see is an ideal way to begin your coat donation for the winter season. The most effective way to do this is to rent ( or buy) a collapsible rolling rack, so you can empty your closet before you decide what to give away. Then the rack can do double duty by storing your guests coats when the come to celebrate. Another pro tip is to bring the rack into your bedroom so you avoid the pile up of coats on your bed!

2) Double - duty decor : Look for table decorations , table cloths , cloth napkins and candles that are neutral in color ( think white, beige or muted metallics) so they can easily be used for holidays to come.

3) Shop wisely, not wildly : start by looking for home decorating ideas at your local thrift store - a great way to multitask while while you are dropping off your coat donations.A perfect Uncluttered start to turkey day 😉
